Preferred Treatment Centers

These are the Treasure Valley programs we know and refer to. Sober living works best alongside real treatment — most of our residents are in outpatient care while they live with us. Call the program directly to verify coverage and current openings.

A word on paying for treatment: if you are uninsured, do not assume you cannot afford care. Call Magellan of Idaho at (855) 202-0973 first — see the Insurance & Healthcare section below. They can cover treatment for uninsured Idahoans and can pay for up to 30 days while a Medicaid application is pending.

Detox & Crisis Stabilization

Coming off alcohol or benzodiazepines without medical supervision can be dangerous. Detox first, then treatment, then sober living — in that order.

There is a meeting somewhere in this valley almost every hour of the day. Our residents are expected to be in them. Pick a pathway that fits you — they all work when you show up.

Peer Support & Recovery Community

Meetings are one thing; having somewhere to go on a Tuesday afternoon is another. Peer recovery centers are free, non-clinical, and staffed by people who have been where you are.

• About expungement, honestlyIdaho has no general adult expungement law. Relief is limited to juvenile records, dismissed charges, acquittals, and some withheld judgments or diversions; anything broader requires a governor’s pardon.
