Moms in recovery: your children can live with you
Recovery shouldn’t cost you your family. In Phoenix House women’s homes, your children can live with you while you rebuild your life. It’s one of the things that makes Phoenix House different from most sober living in Boise.
- Daughters of any age and sons age 12 and under can live in the home with their mom.
- Boys over 12 can’t live in our women’s homes.
- Children need their own paperwork, and some house rules apply. Call or text us to talk through your family’s situation before you apply.
Who our women’s homes are for
- Women, trans women, and non-binary residents who are motivated and active in their recovery from drugs or alcohol
- Women coming from treatment, detox, jail, or another sober living home, or simply ready to start over
- Women on probation or parole. With your written permission, we can send an acceptance letter or residence verification to your PO, attorney, or court.
- Women in medication-assisted treatment, including Suboxone and methadone when medically supervised
We don’t accept sex offenders, violent offenders, arson offenders, or anyone showing aggressive or disruptive behavior. Phoenix House is housing, not treatment, and you’re welcome to attend outpatient care while you live with us.
